Meet Our Therapist

Mayture is a practicing Clinical Psychologist whose focus is on providing psychological interventions that involves assessment, psychotherapy and trainings related to mental health issues. Her therapeutic services are delivered through an array of humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques with the aim of facilitating individual’s cognitive, emotional and psychosocial development.

Throughout her practice as a Clinical Psychologist, Mayture has various experiences on providing psychological assessments to evaluate personality, cognitive, behavioral and emotional functioning for both teenagers and adults. She also has various experiences working with women and children who are survivors of domestic violence as well as with the marginalized population, mainly refugees, by providing psychological intervention and trainings.

At present, Mayture is a private practitioner working closely with other mental health professionals such as Psychiatrists and Counsellors. She is also a co-founder of InPsych (Psychological & Counselling Services). Her areas of interests are on developing interpersonal & communication skills, building self-esteem, conflict resolution, obsessive-compulsive disorder and the management of anxiety and trauma related issues.
